I’m surprised there aren’t more short track fans on here. I’d wager that ~75% of ‘Muricans are within a 2 hr drive to a dirt or asphalt oval, and it’s one of the cheapest ways to get involved in motorsports, both as a driver and spectator.

Plus, figure 8 races and spectator drags are usually standard Friday night entertainment.
